Next week will be our last weekly publication. After which we will begin our bi-weekly issues until the 2008 pre-season begins.

Make sure and check out this weeks article, written by yours truly.

Goodbye and Good Riddance

The last game of the season has been graded and trust me, it was painful. Our next issue we will have the overall grades for the season.....I know, what a joke, but someone's got to do it.

Not What Marshall Should Have Heard!

Sorry for the delay in the newsletter....but Christmas seems a bit more important than a newsletter. We hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

We here at Planet Rams try our best to understand Rams fans displeasure with the Rams and especially the Front Office that has like a surgeon, systematically dissected this team to near nothingness. And yes, they should be angry with the likes of Shaw and Zygmunt.

But there comes a time when you need to draw the line. There comes a time when you simply need to show some class. And the St. Louis fans couldn't even muster up enough class long enough to get through Marshall Faulks "Moment".

You want to boo Shaw and Zygmunt, fine. But during the retirement of the #28 simply was not the time to do it. Faulk did not deserve that embarrassment. And despite it all, Marshall Faulk proved he had more class in his little finger than the entire fan base of St. Louis.....he thanked you.

With that being said, please go over and read what BeaverRam has to say this week.

Officials Do Show Favortism

No, not saying the officiating may have changed the outcome of the game, but what I am saying is that they do call the games differently for teams who have far better records than for teams like the Rams. I can back this statement up with a comment from Darrel Johnson who was announcing the game. "The Rams really can't expect to get calls coming their way with the way their season has gone this year. That's just the way it is in the NFL." Think about that one folks, the next time you think the refs are being bias....you might just be right. With that being said, go over and check out what Eliasdad has to say about this weeks game.

We've given out Week 15's Golden Heart Award so make sure to go over and see who earned our illustrious award this week.

Voodoo Anyone?

Well, what else could it be? Have you ever seen a season such as this? Like the memorable words of Mammie (from Gone With the Wind) "It ain't right, it just ain't right." And with that said, take a gander at what the old WatchDog has to say this week. Nope "It ain't right, it just ain't right.".......

Will the Remaining Rams Resort to Garlic Necklaces?

As always, the team has been graded so go check out what Planet Rams dished out as compared to what the Pros dished out.

Grading Out

And yes, we did find someone to hand our our illustrious Golden Heart Award to this week.

Golden Heart

Several things will be coming up in just a few weeks that we hope you will get involved with.
  1. Planet Rams MVP Awards....OK, so the season sucked, but there's got to be someone that did something better than others did on the team, so let's give due credit to those who did play well. We will have a list of players for each category, that we would like for you to vote on in just a few weeks, so please look for that notice and where to find the polls once they are activated.
  2. Golden Heart Player of the Year.....Right now despite the record a few names should come to everyone's minds, so when we've got the candidates posted, please vote for your GHP of the Year.
  3. Planet Rams Writers.....Once the season is over and we go back to writing every other week, we will open it up to anyone who would like to join our staff and try their hand at writing for Planet Rams. We like to recruit newbies during the off season when it's less hectic. If you have a desire to write, why not give it a shot and write about your favorite football team? All that's required is a sample of your writing which will be reviewed and we'll let you know within a few days one way or another. So think about it and when the writing staff opens up, we will put a notice on the website and in the newsletter.
It's a thankless job, but it gives you the opportunity to vent without anyone bantering back at you disagreeing with your personal opinions, say like on a blog or forum! So if you're looking for a soap box....you'll find it at Planet Rams!

Nice Job Receiving Corp

This game was probably the best all season for the entire receiving corp. Bennett made some great catches, McMichael got to visit the end zone and Torry, despite his ongoing knee problem still made it a living hell for the Falcons corners all day. And well Bruce, simply once again showed why he's Canton bound!

This weeks feature article has been written by GeezerRam so make sure and go see what the "Old Geezer" is up to.

I Don't Think I Have Any Fingernails

We've awarded the Golden Heart for week 13 so make sure you see who was bestowed with the illustrious honor this week.

Golden Heart

We've handed out the grades for this week so see how we ranked the team this week after their outing against the Falcons.

Grading Out

Don't forget we'll be asking for your players whom you would like to see be put on the list for the Golden Heart Player of the Year and the 2007 MVP's, so put your thinking caps on and submit your candidates for voting to planetrams1a@hotmail.com! We'll be compiling the candidates once the regular season is over with.

Make sure and check out the Tailgate Recipe section this week. We got some stuff to warm you up during the cold months of winter. Enjoy!
