Ugly Loss to Raiders

Glad I didn't have to see this one. While I oblivious to it all, out enjoying mountains, forests, and a cozy campfire, the Rams were obviously receiving penalties like there was no tomorrow. Unfortunately, tomorrow will be here for the Rams sooner than they appear to be ready for, if preseason can gage anything.

Let's hope they're far more ready for Carolina than what we've seen from them so far.

Onto this weeks article which is brought to you by GeezerRam this time around and go check out what he's got to say about the whole affair.

Keep Your Hands Off That Panic Button!!

Secone Preseason Game Gone - Ouch!

So we lost, it could be worse....like a "real" loss. So we can at least let out a collective sigh for that. I think the "talking heads" read far too much into the pre-season than really should be...I mean after all...the Colts lost 3 of them last year and what did that matter?

This weeks feature article is written by Eliasdad and is ready for your review....so please go over and check it out.

The Linehan Project Part 2

We've got a couple of new features on our website now, that we hope you will enjoy. One is an interactive stats feature. We'll continue to add to it on a regular basis so have patience as this section grows.

Interactive Stats

We've also added game highlights to the website. It's just in it's infancy so bear with us as we try and improve it during the pre-season. But we hope that you will enjoy it even now.

The sweats a flying, the groans and moans of the game are back. The excitement has finally come back into our lives. And most importantly, our Rams are back!

And to kick it all off, we've got an article from yours truly called No Hundred Yard Rusher
So go check it out when you get the chance!

In case you missed it, we've got the Bruce interview that was shown during the Vikings game on the NFL Network recorded for you on Planet Rams as an added bonus this week. So if you missed that or want to listen to it again you can do so by clicking on this link here...Bruce Interview

We've also got a lot of slide shows that have been added to the photo gallery as the photos are now coming in hot and heavy and we'll continue to create those as the season progresses.

Planet Rams is getting more exposure....been asked to write for another site, thought you might like to go check it out.

Who Are These St. Louis Rams?

We are still working on getting highlights of the games on video and placing them on Planet Rams, our original plans on how to do it, had to be scrapped, but we're still working on this and hopefully there will be highlights of this weeks game and each week thereafter.

Don't forget to check out our Tailgate Recipe section of the newsletter, we're adding new recipes each week now for your taste buds enjoyment. Football may fill one void but you got to fill the stomach too. So enjoy!

Training Camp Well On It's Way

Woo Hoo! Training camp has arrived along with the sheer excitement that the first game of the season will be upon us before we know it. And all those long days we've been struggling to get through without Rams football will finally end.

And with the onset of training camp and the pre-season just around the corner, means that our newsletter goes back to it's weekly basis format. Hey more things to write about, means more bantering from us here at Planet Rams. So prepare yourselves for us knocking on your email door each week from here on out!

This weeks article has been finished and was contributed by our lovable WatchDog so you don't want to miss out on what the old dog is up to!

Let's Get This Party Started!

Note: It seems BeaverRam obligated himself to rejoining the writing staff a tad too early for his own schedule so you won't be hearing from him until the games begin in September....but whenever he gets himself back here, we'll all enjoy having him back on our staff.

There's been a lot of pictures pouring out of training camp the last week, so Planet Rams has compiled a lot of them into some fun slide shows, so make sure you go and check them out. They're up and waiting for your viewing enjoyment.

Training Camp Slide Shows

Writers Still Wanted!: There's still time to sign up as a member of our writing staff, before the season starts. We'd like to get people signed up prior to the first game of the season so that they may become acclimated to our system. After the season starts we won't present this offer until the season is over.

So, if you are interested in speaking your mind about your St. Louis Rams, please forward us an email with a sample of your writing, and whether you'd like to write for the website, the newsletter or both. Send your email to planetrams1a@hotmail.com

Thanks!
