The Rams already has a great player in Laurinaitis and Haggan is only going to serve as a wonderful way in which to strengthen the linebackers. At 6'3" he fits the bill for Fisher when it comes to big physical type of linebacker that Jeff Fisher prefers.
Another thing that Haggan will bring to the Rams is a sense of leadership, especially leadership for the linebackers. The stronger this defense becomes, the easier it will be for the offense to be able to develop. Having a powerful defense is going to take a little bit of pressure off of an offense that really needs to get up to speed and quickly.
